Welcome to another exciting Season!

You’re invited to join the Northport Robotics Booster Club. NRBC is a registered 501(c)3 organization, run by parent volunteers and made up of family, community members, and others who support Team 5099. Every dollar raised by NRBC goes towards assisting Team 5099 as they build and compete.  Our goals are:

  • Subsidizing student costs for competitions
  • Purchasing supplies and equipment for robot building
  • Coordinating food for practices and competitions
  • Other activities to support the team on an as needed basis

NRBC can do this through a combination of membership dues, donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers.  One of our first yearly fundraisers has been a Barnes and Noble book fair and gift-wrapping event in December and we would love to hear from parents that they are interested in making this happen this year.

In addition, local businesses and individuals are invited to become Team 5099 sponsors.  Sponsors are truly the lifeblood of the team’s financial success and we invite you to consider becoming a Team 5099 sponsor.  If you know anyone who wants to help advance students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields, please reach out to them with a sponsorship form.

Of course, the greatest support our students receive is from their families.  Your membership and contribution help the team reach their goals. Your direct involvement with the booster club helps the entire team.  You don’t have to be a parent to join NRBC.  All you need is enthusiasm for robotics and a desire to help these students learn leadership and teamwork, exercise their problem-solving skills, and advance their knowledge in some of the most important fields of study in today’s workplace.

Keep in touch with the club by email at [email protected], check out the club’s Facebook page @Northport Robotics Booster Club and be kept up to date on NRBC activities!

Thank you for everything you do for Team 5099.  With your help we know the Cyberian Tigers can look forward to a great year!

Respectfully,

The NRBC Leadership Team
